About the project
National Freelance Program is an IT Community initiative that develops freelancing across Uzbekistan, with a strong focus on regional and remote areas.
It teaches people how to start freelancing, how the platforms work and how to turn that into income without leaving their region. The program exists so that where a person lives stops deciding whether digital work is available to them.
What it does
From the first explanation to a working profile.
- 01
Teaches the craft
How to start working as a freelancer in different fields, explained from the beginning rather than assumed.
- 02
Covers the platforms
How freelance platforms work, how to register on them and how to actually get work through them.
- 03
Runs in person
Workshops, masterclasses and practical sessions, so the material is worked through rather than watched.
- 04
Opens a door
Participants are introduced to the freelance platform of IT Community itself.
Main goal
Why the program exists.
- 01Make freelancing accessible and understandable across the country
- 02Create new income opportunities, especially in remote regions
- 03Encourage digital work and self-employment nationwide
Who it is for
Built for people starting from zero.
- 01Beginners and students
- 02People from regional and remote areas
